Introducing the Anatomy & Physiology Club's 2020 Virtual Health Exploration Initiative

Updated: Aug 20, 2020

Due to new COVID-19 University Guidelines, most student organization events will be completed in a virtual setting in order to protect the health of students, faculty, and the surrounding community.

As a result, the Anatomy & Physiology Club is introducing a new virtual initiative this fall which is open to all students at Miami regardless of their affiliation with our club.

We have partnered with the Mallory Wilson Center, Delta Epsilon Mu, the American Medical Student Association, and the Minorities Association for Premed Students. As a collective group and pre-health community, we will be offering various professional development opportunities to our incoming freshman students and existing members.

Although this fall is not what we all had imagined or hoped for, we hope to provide our members and peers with excellent virtual learning opportunities, professional networking, and above all else, a supportive community.

Our initiative includes five events spanned across the fall semester. Research articles and supporting materials for each event will be sent out to students at the beginning of each month. These supporting materials will introduce the topic and allow students to develop a deeper understanding of the material.

Students who attend all five events will receive a certificate of completion for the initiative and a 2020 Health Exploration laptop sticker.

Our first event of the initiative will be on August 27th at 7PM. Register for the event on our Event Page.
